Who is a CFO, and what do they offer
A Chief Financial Officer (CFO) heads the finance and accounting departments.
The CFO oversees the finance department of a company. The CFO is responsible for making sure that the company has enough money to keep going, and they are also responsible for making sure that all of the different departments within the company are working together to ensure that they have what they need to get through any financial crisis.
The CFO works closely with other people in their department, as well as with outside advisers, to ensure all of their finances are in order and that they have everything they need to keep running smoothly. They also make sure that everyone in their department knows exactly what's going on so no one feels left out or forgotten about when it comes time for decisions about how much money should be spent and at which time during each fiscal year.
CFOs can be helpful for big and small organizations both; everyone needs financial leadership, get more insights on The Role of a CFO at a Startup.
The CFO also works with legal and HR teams to ensure that all contracts are up-to-date and comply with regulations. They make sure that the company has enough cash on hand so that it can pay off its debts when necessary (which could happen at any time!).

A mentor is someone who has already done what you want to do—and has done it well. They can teach you how to do it. And if that person is not an option, then finding a supportive network is key. That's where other people in your field can help you learn the skills and experience needed for success.
